Fixed income outlook 2024: What’s next after the “great reset”?

Tuesday 27 February 2024 | 18:30 - 20:30 | Evening Event

This event has been organised by CFA UK's Fixed Income Special Interest Group

With over a decade of ultra-low interest rates seeming in the rear-view mirror, discuss the implications for risks and potential returns across fixed income markets in 2024 and beyond.

Our panellists will guide you through one of the most significant shifts in history for fixed income markets. They will provide valuable insights into the implications of this “great reset” for risks faced by investors and potential portfolio returns in the coming years.

  • Explore the drivers that brought about the end of the post-GFC period of ultra-low interest rates, and the reasons these were underappreciated by many policymakers and investors.

  • Understand the implications of this regime shift for risks and potential returns across fixed income markets through 2024 and beyond.

  • Evaluate and contrast a range of panellists’ views and expectations
