Ben Ashby, Partner, Good Governance Capital

Ben Ashby is a Partner at Good Governance Capital. Previously he was a Managing Director at JPMorgan’s Chief Investment Office & Treasury. Ben has a long track record of accurately predicting financial distress including the global financial vrisis in 2008 along with the subsequent problems in Iceland, Ireland, Greece and Dubai.

He started his career doing distressed debt workout on behalf of the UK government and worked through the emerging market/LTCM crises of 97/98 and the DotCom crash. Due to his deep expertise in financial systems, money & international credit markets, he sits on the Advisory Board for the University of Cambridge’s Centre for Financial History. Ben is Treasurer for Kent County Rugby Union where also a referee.
