Becoming a mentor is about more than meetings and checking in. It’s the chance to make a meaningful impact on an ambitious investor’s career. When you’re matched with a mentee, they’ll have some of the same goals and challenges as you did – and some new ones. The difference? They have your guidance to get the most out of their career.
WHY BECOME A MENTOR?
Becoming a mentor doesn’t lead to just one relationship. Not only can you support more than one mentee in their goals, but you can meet an exciting community of investors mentoring with you. You can access training, and you’ll get invites to exclusive, senior-level networking events. When you become a mentor, the benefits aren’t just for your mentee – they're there for you, too!

HOW TO APPLY
You’re eligible to become a mentor if you’re a CFA UK member and you have 5 years' experience or more in the investment sector. When the application window opens, you can sign up and commit to a one-year term. We let our members know by email when these windows open. From there, our staffed office will give you a call to discuss your aims and objectives, and our Mentoring Working Group will match you with your mentee.
