While they’re not the real thing, you can use our library of mock papers to simulate the experience of taking your IMC exams. MOCK EXAMS AT A GLANCE

Our mock exams provide guidance on the structure of the exam and the way in which questions are positioned and asked.
Mock exams are not a primary source of learning – they only cover a proportion of the many learning outcomes of the IMC exam.
It's always best to develop a fundamental understanding of the curriculum, and then test this through our mock exams.
These mock examinations differ from those contained within the CFA UK Official Training Manuals.

THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

Mock exams help you understand the types of questions that the IMC exams will feature. The three types of questions you’ll encounter are:

Standard multiple-choice questions – select one answer from four options
Item set questions – You’ll get several questions based on a short scenario. The material in the case study doesn’t change with the questions.
Gap fill questions – Enter an answer into the field provided. There are specific formatting requirements, but these formatting requirements are always given in the question.

PASSING THE TEST

Here are the pass marks you need to know for each IMC exam:

The Unit 1 exam pass mark usually stays between 65%–75%. The mock exam is only a guide, so it’s best to aim to achieve 75% or more when taking this test.
The Unit 2 exam pass mark usually stays between 60%– 70%. Although this mark is lower, you should still aim to achieve 75% or more when taking this test.
