The Investment Managers’ Charitable Trust (IMCT) is excited to announce the launch of a joint bursary program in partnership with CFA UK aimed at providing financial support for students aspiring to obtain the CFA UK level 4 Certificate in Investment Management – the IMC.
The CFA UK will sponsor five IMC bursaries a year providing access to study material and exam enrolment at no cost for the student, and the IMCT will select the bursary recipients and provide a mentor from the associated Guild of Investment Managers to support the bursary recipients in their studies.
“Together with CFA UK, we are thrilled to create opportunities for young people who are passionate about investments and who wish to have a career in the industry” said Anthony Yadgaroff – Chair of the IMCT. “We believe that education is a powerful tool for change, and this bursary program will help pave the way for future leaders to realise their dreams.”
Will Goodhart, Chief Executive of CFA UK says:
“We are delighted to support the launch of this Joint Bursary Program. We take our promise of ‘We Grow Talent’ seriously and we are excited to watch as these young people come into our industry to grow their knowledge, skills and connections. We are excited about where the IMC and the Bursary Program can take them.”
Interested students can find more information through the IMCT website https://coinvmgt.com/charitable-home/. The application will involve the completion of a written application and the selection process will take into account academic achievements and personal statements.
